DC Dog & Owner training offers you professional in person and online pet training. My aim is to support you in having a well-balanced, good-natured dog that is responsive to your commands. My training methods are tailor-made and geared to how your dog best responds to training with results that can last.

Balanced Dog Training
Group Training
I will provide you with tools and tricks to teach your best friend how to be a well-mannered companion. My behavioral approach allows your dog to better understand what is being taught and what is expected from him or her. Group classes are offered at a special rate depending on how many participants are joining and is an excellent way to teach your dog how to focus on you, the trainer, and ignore distractions.
Private Training
My training sessions will strengthen your skills and confidence with your dog. I provide in home training as well as out in social settings for those dogs that are not well socialized. Public settings start out in low traffic areas always as to not over stimulate and scare your pup and as they gain more confidence, social excursions will increase to more populated venues. You will see the change in your pet from the get-go. Simply put, my training methods works!
Remote Training
For those folks that are not in my travel area, I also offer remote training via FaceTime, Zoom, and Teams. This training method is the same as in person with added video instruction from the site or via text. First remote training is free and a consultation so I can better see your pup in action and put together a training plan for you to follow.

Pet First Aid & CPR Classes
DC Dog & Owner Training is excited to announce we are now offering pet CPR and first aid classes. These classes are for the professional or the pet owner. This is a group class lasting about 3-3.5 hours on average. Classes are between 6-8 people. We are now accepting bookings for classes. Pricing is dependent on location of classes. Please contact me for more information. Discounts are offered for military, previous and present clients, and for people with support animals.

What I Do
Well Rounded Balanced Training
At DC Dog & Owner training, I try to remain on the cutting edge of animal behavioral science. Offering the most effective, veterinarian-backed training methodologies. I provide a range of different types of training methods that are customized to your dog and his or her needs like positive reinforcement, clicker, Alpha Dominance, E Collar, science based and relationship-based training styles.
